Your First Visit to Our San Diego Practice
At the first visit I will have you fill out some paper work which will provide me some information about you. Next I will have you read a few pamphlets which will explain what I do and how I determine what needs to be done. Then I will do a consultation, examination and x-rays.
Consultation
During the consultation, I will be gathering information regarding your health history, habits, activities, posture, occupation, sleeping postures and other influences on your condition. We also go over different mechanisms of injuries and conditions.
Examination
The examination will consist of evaluating your body biomechanics, orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic tests. Then x-rays will be taken to specifically analyze the spinal curvatures and alignment. I do specific measuring of your x-rays to determine the areas of subluxations (misalignments).
Depending on your situation we may do some therapy to help start you on your path to recovery. Your first visit will take approximately 45 minutes to one hour, from start to finish.
